The Beginning
Introduction
Hello and Welcome!
We are a group of 5 people looking forward to make a new project! We got tasked to make a couch co-op game as part of our curriculum at DAE (Digital Arts and Entertainment). During the following months we are looking forward to updating you every week on the progress we've made.
Before we start talking about the game we'd like to introduce our team:

Now that's of the way, we'd like to talk a bit about the current idea we have of the game.
Brainstorm
The concept we came up with is an arcade/roguelike game played as two players. We wanted the game to revolve around the synergy between the two players, so the kits of both players are important to us. The game starts you off on one island with waves of enemies coming towards you, which when beaten, clear the island and you can move on to the next by choosing one of different paths that each give you different modifiers and lead you to a different island, like seen in the image below.
The further you get, the harder the game becomes.
Of course we are not done with brainstorming yet, there is still a lot to discuss in the following weeks which we will all document in the following devlogs, so be sure to stick around and see what the game has to offer.
